 Why did it take so long to get the registration ? Larry and I just had to stand in line for 30 minutes at DMV and pay $52.00, and we left with a temp operating pirmit good for 3 months !!! Gotta love California !!! :oDAMN...That's alot! I paid $40.00 for 1 Year + Custom Plate (could have paid $55.00 for 2 Year's, but I only had $50.00 on me at the time...) & it took about 20 min.! ;D If I were in Van Nuys Ca., I would have paid over $100.00 & it would have taken ALL Day...IF...it would have cleared SMOG!!!  When we lived in Van Nuys, we joined AAA just so we can stay away from the DMV  AZ is GREAT for Auto's & M/C's...my Driver's Lic. cost me $10.00 & it's good until 2020!  You ONLY have to up-date your Lic. Photo every 12 year's & that's FREE!!! ;D Just walk in the door & walk up to the counter & 'SNAP'...it's done!  I LOVE Arizona...but I DO miss California  "SKULL"

Earl and I both have aftermarket mexican cases, and we both talked the chp dude into just putting the engine number tags on our fan shrouds !!! We gave him 2 choices... use the blank area and stamp the number there, where it's supposed to be, or put it on the shroud !!! No way were we gunna let him drill into or engine cases to attach the damm tags. I was gunna take a pic of mine, but had to put the camera batts on the charger instead... but the officer said that they didn't allow him to stamp the numbers in the proper place (his own words) I think that rule pissed him off too, so he did it our way, and actually handed Earl the drill to do his own after he chipped the paint on his frame putting that tag on... I got a real kick out of that !!! We go to Redding to get our VIN's because the not a very nice person here in Red bluff is exactly that... When I went for my appointment, the very first words out of his mouth were "if I find anything stolen on this, im going to have it crushed and throw your ass in jail" hahaha.... I grabbed my papers back quickly, told him he was an not a very nice person, and that he shouldn't be allowed to have a job where he has to deal with the public... He said something as I walked away and got on my Trike, but I didn't care to listen to the creaton bastard, and I told the CHP guy in Redding what he said too. He agreed that the guy is an not a very nice person, and to tell everyone to just make their appointments with their office. By the way, the 1st words out of his mouth were "hey !!! thats neat !!! Nice job !!! How are you today ?" Yep, he knew all about that other dude already, and hated his guts... LOL he was a very nice guy....
