New River Gorge Bridge in WV

This is the bridge on the back of the West Virginia quarter John and I took the tour last weekend. It was truly an amazing site. You could fit the Washington Monument and two Statue of Liberties on top of each other underneath it and still have 23 feet to spare.

they shut the bridge down once a year to let people bungee jump

I always wondered why anyone would want to do that... I suppose if ya don't own a Trike, ya need to do something to make up for the missing excitement...
