Or maybe I put too much time into it.....I dunno..I just don't want a wire terminal stranding me......so I strip off the insulator on every wire terninal, slide a peice of heat shrink over the wire, install the terminal, crimp it, SOLDER it, then heat shrink it..... But the engine is wired, with the coil and elec. chokes separately fused. The solemoid to switch is done thru a 40A breaker. The battery to switch is done thru a 40A breaker. Wiring for the hi/lo beam relay, turn signal relay, alt ind lamp, O/P ind lamp, and tach signal wire has been brought forward(gonna terminate in the relay area....right side "dummy" tank. Left tank will be an actual 2.5gal reserve. Throttle cable is done, front to back. Clutch cable is done. Brake pedal linkage is done.
Tomorrow.....dee, deeee ....duuh....doh..oh yeah, start fabbing trhe inner tank relay panel, and maybe snap a few pics........fab the battery hold down, leak test the moon tank and fuel lines....
Making progress guys, I just ain't as fast as I used to be, and I'm anal about wiring.......had an old Brit bike once....yup, Lucas electrics, and I was wailing thru this turn, pipes draggin' Dunlop TT100's screaning for mercy.....when a wire worked it way out of the spade terminal for one of the coils........ever wonder what happens when you got a 375lb bike at full tilt, running 90mph plus thru a long sweeper......when you lose one cylinder......let's just say, it ain't purty...... And even yho this s a trike....I don't like wiring harness failures!
L8R guys..... kliff

Sounds like your doing a great job Kliff !!! Don't worry about bein anal bout the wireing... LOL Your absolutely right !!! There's no such thing as too good, and overkill is a standard procedure for good engineers like ourselves. hahaha !!! Keep up the great work, and it will take good care of ya down the road... Don't forget the cupholder... then it's done, sorta...
